Just an interesting muse for this post.

Today, my fileserver was cranking out data for my search engine, so while watching a show on it, the video was quite choppy, but that audio was well in sync so it was tolerable. After 20 minutes of this, I found myself turning my head in large increments, and reading sentences in bursts. It took me some 5 minutes to realize that I was doing this! Our bodies sure respond to stimuli quickly, and they start to think that the current situation is “normal”, so we adjust our other perceptions to match this normal.

Nothing big, I just wanted to write it down because it was a neat revelation when my “jittery” effect wore off.
